Q Doesn’t elevator maintenance management costly?
Our prices have been set appropriately.
The work involved in elevator maintenance management has been monopolized up until by elevator manufacturers who perform maintenance management themselves or via affiliated maintenance management companies only with the products and parts that they manufacture. Owing to this, contracts involving non-negotiable rates specified by the manufacturers have been forced on customers. We at JES revise these set prices from the bottom up and then set appropriate prices and a clear pricing system to ensure that you are provided with high-quality maintenance management services.
Q Is it okay for not using a major maintenance company affiliated to the manufacturer?
We provide the same maintenance management systems as major companies.
JES carries out inspections and investigations into models manufactured by Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Hitachi, Otis, FUJITEC and other major companies, and replace, repair and adjust the necessary parts with official parts manufactured by the original manufacturer. We are also equipped with abundant experience, expert knowledge, high-level technologies and a workforce well versed in models produced by all manufacturers, and we provide total systems that are in no way inferior to those provided by manufacturer-affiliated maintenance management companies.

JES operates two different surveillance systems capable of responding immediately 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to problems in preparation for accidents, malfunctions, earthquakes and other natural disasters that can happen at any time.
Q What is elevator modernization?
As elevators get older, there are cases in which continuing with normal maintenance management is insufficient for providing the required levels of care. It is therefore natural for functions to be improved and safety standards revised in alignment with the requirements of the times. Moving ahead with modernization works as early as possible is an extremely significant step when considering that elevators are an important asset. The experience, technical prowess and skilled engineering staff of JES offers all modernization work with superior levels of cost performance.
Q How do surveillance systems work?
Elevator maintenance and malfunction response are carried out in accordance with a system that links our central Control Center surveillance facility (24 hours a day, 365 days a year) to all of our branches.
Q Is a remote surveillance service available?
In addition to a remote surveillance service, JES also provides a remote inspection system. JES is the only independent elevator maintenance company offering both of these services. (Not available for certain models.)
Q Can surveillance devices be installed in elevators?
We will install our original PRIME remote surveillance and remote inspection equipment once the manufacturer's equipment has been removed.
Q Is there a cost?
There is no initial payment for the device. We will cover all costs.
Q Is it possible to speak to the people inside the elevator during emergencies?
Our Control Center is manned 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to handle direct inquiries.
Q How long is the response time in an emergency?
Our target is within thirty minutes.
Q What are the differences from manufacturer-affiliated maintenance companies?
There are no differences.
Q Remote Inspections? Visiting inspections?
Remote inspections and automatic diagnostic operations performed by PRIME will be provided in addition to a visiting inspection once per month.
Depending on the contract, visiting inspections will be provided once every two or three months. Remote inspections are carried out every month.
Q How many inspections per month, and how long does each inspection take?
Once per month as a basic principle. Inspections take approximately one to two hours.
Q Do you manage part stocks?
We maintain a stock of parts to cover the number of elevators and models we maintain.
Q Do you use manufacturer parts for replacements?
We use official manufacturer parts.
Q Can you procure manufacturer parts quickly?
There is no problem.
The Fair Trade Commission decided more than ten years ago that manufacturers' reluctance to release parts to other companies was in violation of the Anti-Monopoly Law, and now there is a smooth supply of parts.
Q Are inspections possible outside of working hours?
Our engineers are on stand-by at all times in preparation for emergencies, so inspections outside of working hours are possible. There are cases in which extra fee will be charged for this, so please contact us with your inquiry.
